Larry And His Flask / Jason and The Punknecks – Southgate House Revival

I’m not really sure how to describe this show.  It was part punk, part hootenanny, and part vaudeville.  A Larry And His Flask show is something that simply must be seen to be appreciated.  My friend Aaron turned me on to these guys and I really enjoyed their record but he kept telling me that the live show is much better.  Hot damn, was he right!  And that’s not to say the record is not great, it is.  But capturing their energy on a record is much like trying to capture lighting in a bottle.
