The Whigs / Frontier Folk Nebraska – Southgate House Revival

I’m late to the party on The Whigs.  They’re one of those bands that I’d been hearing about for years but for some reason never checked out.  Turns out that was my loss.  The Whigs uptempo, straightforward country tinged, alternative rock is always a great listen and they put on a fantastic show. The opener was Frontier Folk Nebraska, whom I have seen and photographed a few times before. They are an alt-country outfit from Covington, KY in the vein of Old 97’s.
