Grizzly Bear’s music covers a whole range of styles, experimenting with ambient noise, jangly pop songs and peppy indie rock. On Friday August 2, 2013 they took the stage at a nearly packed Taft Theatre. I must admit, I didn’t realize they were well enough known to pack that big of a crowd in to such a large venue. While they have some easily accessible songs, much of their catalog requires a bit more attention to fully appreciate. I was very pleased to see such a large crowd out to see a band doing something pretty unique and doing it very well!
