Barrence Whitfield / The Sundresses – Woodward Theater

Barrence Whitfield and The Savages are raw… in the best way possible. From the clinking of the piano to the blues guitar to Whitfield’s unbelievable high pitched screams, they commanded the stage at The Woodward like they owned it. There’s an earnestness that goes along with their intensity that for some reason really connects to me.
